    Hello Dave,
It’s great to find you. I attended AMTC the year that the school “crashed” and met you there. I have been designing and teaching in the Yukon since then.
Anyway, I have a question that I am sure you can answer. I will be doing an annual report, design/layout/print for a local association. I understand that I “own” the raw files for this document unless otherwise stated in the contract. This organization wants to use the raw files for their next publication and do the layout themselves. In this case what should I charge for the raw files? I don’t want to charge too much, but basically, if I sell them the raw files, I am selling myself out of work? Dilemma……it’s a small community…
You have a great website Dave. I will visit again. I am thinking of joining the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada….do you think that this is a good idea..perhaps it would help me stay in contact with main stream industry. At times I find myself very isolated.

    Thanks again,
    Myra Egli
